Ingredients

  • 3 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 2 tablespoons jalapeños, seeded and chopped
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated Hawaiian crescent rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded, divided

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 -Line a large cooking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 -In a medium bowl, add the chicken, the jalapeños, and the barbecue sauce and mix until well-combined.

Step 4 -Unroll each of the cans of crescent roll dough into 16 triangles.

Step 5 -Arrange the triangles on the prepared cookie sheet so that the wide sides form a 6-inch circle in the center. The dough will overlap around the circle.

Step 6 -Spoon the chicken mixture onto the portion of the triangles that's closest to the center of the ring.

Step 7 -Evenly sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded cheese over the chicken mixture.

Step 8 -Place the points of the triangles over the chicken mixture and tuck the dough under the bottom to secure it. It is okay for some of the filling to show.

Step 9 -Bake the ring for 24 minutes.

Step 10 -Sprinkle the ring with the remaining cheese and bake until golden-brown and the cheese has melted, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 11 -Slice and serve.
