Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 6 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 -Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 -In a medium bowl, add the flour and the paprika and whisk to combine.

Step 4 -Add each of the chicken thighs to the flour mixture and coat on all sides.

Step 5 -Evenly sprinkle both sides of each of the chicken thighs with the salt and the black pepper, then place them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.

Step 6 -In a second medium bowl, add the honey, the soy sauce, and the garlic and whisk to combine.

Step 7 -Pour the honey mixture over the seasoned chicken thighs. Flip the meat over, about 1-2 times, to completely coat.

Step 8 -Evenly sprinkle the red pepper flakes over the chicken thighs.

Step 9 -Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake the chicken thighs, about 30 minutes.

Step 10 -Uncover the baking dish and discard the aluminum foil. Bake the chicken thighs until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F and the juices run clear, about 15 minutes.

Step 11 -Serve.
