Fresh Strawberry Cookies

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 -Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 -Place the strawberries in a large bowl and drizzle with the lemon juice.

Step 4 -In a large bowl, add the flour, the baking powder, the sugar, and the salt, and combine.

Step 5 -Use a fork to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles small peas.

Step 6 -In another bowl, use a fork to mash the bananas.

Step 7 -Add the milk, the orange zest, and the vanilla extract to the bananas and mix to combine.

Step 8 -Add the banana mixture and the strawberry mixture to the flour mixture and mix well using a spatula, ensuring it is not overmixed.

Step 9 -Use a cookie scoop to scoop out the cookie dough and place it on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a couple inches in between each cookie

Step 10 -Bake the cookies, in batches, until they are lightly golden brown, about 7-10 minutes.

Step 11 -Cool, then serve and enjoy!
