Ingredients
- 2 (11-ounce) packages milk chocolate morsels
- 1 (8-ounce) tub Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed
- 24 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers
Directions
Step 1 -Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
Step 2 -In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the chocolate morsels for 1 minute.
Step 3 -Stir the chocolate morsels and then microwave for 30 seconds.
Step 4 -Stir the melted chocolate morsels until they are smooth.
Step 5 -Allow the melted chocolate morsels to cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes.
Step 6 -In a large bowl, add melted chocolate morsels and the whipped topping and fold together gently until combined.
Step 7 -Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 8 -Place the chocolate mixture in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Step 9 -Cut the frozen chocolate mixture into 36 squares.
Step 10 - Return the chocolate squares to the freezer for 30 minutes.
Step 11 -Melt the dark chocolate wafers according to the package instructions.
Step 12 -Dip the frozen chocolate squares into the melted dark chocolate to coat.
Step 13 -Place the dark chocolate-covered squares on a sheet of parchment paper and let them set.
Step 14 -Store the candy in the freezer until ready to serve.
Step 15 -Serve cold.
