Ingredients

  • 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice
  • 1 (3.4-ounce) package French vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (10-ounce) round angel food cake, store-bought or homemade, cut crosswise into 3 layers
  • 10 fresh strawberries, hulled and halved, for topping

Directions

Step 1 -In a bowl, add the crushed pineapple with its juices and the pudding mix and mix to combine.

Step 2 -Add the whipped topping and gently stir to combine.

Step 3 -On a plate, stack the cake layers, spreading the pudding mixture between the layers and over the top of the cake.

Step 4 -Refrigerate the cake for 1 hour.

Step 5 -Serve topped with the halved strawberries.
